Odds and ends FAQ U 2!!! Things people send

Spiro T. Angle:
Spiro draws this web comic. He also spends his spare time locked in mortal combat with a program known as "Ought-to-keen", which attempts to thwart his every effort to make these web pages. Spiro works at a computer store selling and repairing PC's. For all his hardware knowledge, simple web design has proven to be a painful process resulting in constant mistakes. He is an example of someone who is highly intelligent, yet childishly naive.

Hemi:
Hemi is the co-pilot in this experiment. Not exactly enthusiastic about his inclusion here, he tags along and participates anyway. Hemi carries a magic bottle of beer that is always cold, always 2/3rds full, and tastes like Samuel Adams. He's never without it unless he's working. Hemi works as head of security at a local bar/club. When not throwing people out on their heads, he prefers to play chess and read. Hemi and Spiro have been friends for about a decade now.

K8:
K8 and Hemi are a couple. She exists as the base of common sense to counter Spiro's idiocy. She is the smartest of them where business matters are concerned, and can operate the main gun on a T-64 battle tank with surprising skill. K8 tollerates Spiro because he supports her goal of wanting to own the universe. K8 is pragmatic, and also has the only fashion sense of the bunch.

Gary:
Gary is Spiro's robot double. He's programmed to sit and watch TV while Spiro goes to work. He can record what he sees in video as well as audio. He's not very smart, and pointless to talk to. Although he can move, he cannot yet walk on his own. Spiro works on him in his spare time. Gary usually stays plugged into the wall, but can run for about 2 hours on his battery. His chassis is actuated by pneumatic rams arranged like musclature, and powered by two compressed air tanks in his chest.. I rarely draw all the rams because they're a chore. A small electric compressor keeps the tanks charged. This emits a small "purring" noise while the compressor is running. Gary usually wears a shirt and shorts, but I figured I'd also show what his chassis looks like in case anyone was currious.

Briget:
Briget has known Spiro longer than anyone. Longer than he can even remember. She has an unusual condition that makes her look like a shadow. For most social functions, she wears make-up over whatever parts of her she wishes to show. She has some odd habits, particularly one of disappearing whenever there's trouble, and never wearing shoes. She's quite probably the most high-maintainance human being on the planet, and prone to radical mood swings and personality quirks from sociopathic to timid. Aw let's face it; she's nuts. She does know some funny limericks though, and seems to be quite fond of Gary.
